Business structure:

This friendly, privately owned business was founded in 1992, and is a global leading technology innovator for the estate planning market. Wider group companies include Estgro (estate planning for financial advisors) and New Zealand base Footprint (online Will provider).

Ease of use:

Exceptionally easy to use software due to the clear layout we referenced above and a really strong blend of features that will make the solution very appealing to most users. Overall a really strong design ethos from the Arken team and very well executed.

Architecture & roadmap:

A fully browser based application, accessible from any device and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using UK based data centres. The Arken team service clients in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa

Integrations:

While integration with your practice management system is not essential, Arken have an open API with a number of established integrations for systems such as Clio, Proclaim and Tikit P4W already in place and a highly flexible approach to links with other systems - this can be managed by Arken or their partners or indeed, by the law firm itself where required.

Implementation:

Thanks to the benefits of genuine cloud computing, getting up and running with Arken can be achieved in as little time as the "same day" (integrated sites may take longer) and prospective customers can access the free trial system via an online form (no payment needed).

The suite of training videos are available for users 24/7 and Arken run regular training webinars for new and existing users.

Value for money:

Arken have a thoroughly modern approach to pricing with firms only paying for documents they produce rather than a per user cost, so if you don't use the system then you are not paying for it. They even offer a free, no obligation trial.
